Can I make a transfer online by my self?

Yes you can download the KIECO app from the play store (Android) or App Store (Iphone) or visit www.kiecokw.com to make a transfer online by your self.

I want to send a bank transfer to my account in my country. What details do I need to provide?

It is always important to provide your accurate bank details in order to avoid any discrepancies. The following information is required.

  • Beneficiary Name
  • Account Number
  • Bank Name
  • Branch Name & Branch Address.

Transfers for specific countries might require more details. Kindly contact our Customer Services or branch for more details.

I want to use Western union to make a remittance. What details shall I provide?

A Western Union transfer requires you to give the following.

  • a. Name of the Receiver
  • b. Destination Country
  • c. Amount you want to send

Please make sure to give the accurate name of the receiver, as per the identification produced by the receiver.

Can I use a credit card to make a remittance?

No – You can only use cash or K-Net.

Is there any limit for payments in Cash?

Yes! As per Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines, we can only accept up to 3000 /- KD in cash for any transactions. For amounts above 3000/- KD you can use the following methods.

  • K-NET
  • Bank transfer to our account with a local bank.
  • Cheque drawn on local bank (Subject to realization)
Can I use my driving license as an identification while performing a transaction?

The driving license is not a valid Identification as per Central Bank of Kuwait Guidelines. As per Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines, a valid/unexpired

  • Civil Id (Residents)
  • Passport along with the visa copy (visitors only)
  • GCC Card (For GCC nationals)

are acceptable identification one can use for performing a transaction.

What is the transaction fee?

If you are remitting to Asia – the transaction fee is 1 KWD and anywhere else, please contact us on +965 60778287 to know the charges as it depends on which country you are sending the money to.

What is the identification I can use for transacting with KIECO?

As per Central Bank of Kuwait guidelines, for individual transaction a valid/unexpired

  • Civil Id (Residents)
  • Passport along with the visa copy (visitors only)
  • GCC Card (For GCC nationals)

are acceptable identification one can use for performing a transaction.
